Shuttle - Virgin Mobile's first EV-DO enabled handset. A new slider has been announced by Virgin Mobile USA, their first cell phone enabled to integrate several features from the Helio portfolio — improved access to social networks. It's also the first EV-DO enabled handset from the mobile operator. Virgin Mobile Shuttle comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, 2-inch display screen, media player, IM client, and a memory expansion slot.

Its first Mobile Web data packs are also offered to customers as add-ons to calling plans. The mobile operator is offering Monthly plan with 20MB of data (called “Surf the Web”) for $5. If it's not enough, another plan with 50MB of data is available for $10. For the 'pay as you go' users, 5MB costs $5. 20MB is available for $10, and you should spend $20 in exchange for 50MB of data plan. It also includes unlimited access to Virgin VXL service for all data plans.
