IM+ for Skype for iPhone, iPod Touch. The official Skype application for iPhone is not launched yet, but it will not stop us to be able to enjoy Skype functionality on our phone. Not to be left behind by other contenders; fring, and Truphone, SHAPE Services has launched its IM+ for Skype in App Store.

The app allows users to both text chat, and make and take calls with their Skype contacts and to any phone number. How it works: Reliable callback technology is used for calls thus providing best phone call quality with no extra delays and latency typical for VoIP. To use IM+ for Skype you need a Skype account. iPod Touch owners can just specify the number to which you want to receive callback.
