Huawei U8230 and C8000 unveiled at CommunicAsia 2009

Huawei unveils two new devices at the CommunicAsia 2009 Expo and Conference in Singapore, they're Huawei U8230 and Huawei C8000.

The U8230 is an Android phone boasting a 3.5" LCD touchscreen that allows users to switch between a full and half QWERTY keyboard, a 1500mAH battery. While the Huawei C8000 is a Windows Mobile phone boasting a 2.8? touchscreen with great battery that can play video files continuously for up to 8 hours. Both phones are due to hit the shelves in the second half of 2009.

Spokesperson for Huawei Terminals Glory Chueng commented on the new devices: "The U8230 and the C8000 handsets on display here at CommunicAsia take the interactivity experience of smartphones to a whole new level, and Huawei is looking forward to working with our customers to bring them to market later this year."
