Great news for mobile gaming users, During Sony’s E3 press conference, Sony revealed its new Sony PSP. Called 'PSP Go', the new device is smaller and lighter than the PSP 3000 since the UMD drive has been removed. Sony PSP Go features a sliding panel that allows you to slide-up the device before playing a game, and slide-down the device when music or a video is being played.

There are also Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 16GB flash memory and a memory stick micro slot for expanded memory. Sony states they will continue producing and support the PSP 3000 and reassures consumers the PSP Go will in no way replace the original PSP. The PSP Go will retail for $249.99 on October 1st this year.
