WxFix launched by Eelios - Mobile Weather App for iPhone, iPod Touch

Eelios has announced that WxFix, its new location-based personal weather solution, is now available on the App Store for iPhone and iPod touch.

WxFix gives users a precise forecast for the exact locations they want, conforming to their daily activities and plans. Unlike existing weather applications that locate the user in a generalized area, such as a city or zip code, and then provide weather for a different location, such as a school or airport weather station, WxFix provides a forecast at the exact location the user requests, whether it’s at home, on the golf course, at the beach or even a mountaintop. Only WxFix gives users a personalized weather “pin” to simply drop and point anywhere on a map to get the forecast for a specific location – anywhere in the continental U.S. Eelios calls this concept “Lifestyle Weather”.
