Samsung intends to stop making Symbian phones
We know that Samsung is a member of the Symbian Foundation. According to HMC Investment Securities, Samsung intends to stop making Symbian handsets starting 2011, and reduce the number of WM devices to 20% (from the total number of smartphones) in 2012. Senior Vice President Don Joo Lee said the South Korean company will continue to focus on Android, Windows Mobile, and the yet to be revealed Bada, mobile operating systems.
