SpinThought releases StoryPages 2 for the iPhone
SpinThought has announced the launch of StoryPages 2 for the Apple iPhone. StoryPages was designed to help iPhone users create illustrated stories on the go. The application is available now in the iTunes App Store.

StoryPages borrows from the storyboarding format used in film and animation production, allowing users to rapidly layout drawings and associated text, including anything they need to describe in a photo, sketch or text, and deliver their custom StoryPages via email as a PDF, export to the iPhone Gallery as PNG, or deliver via MMS. For example, StoryPages 2 can send entire stories as PDF files via email in WYSIWYG format so you can use the illustrations and text in other products. It can be used for any projects that use images with associated text such as comics, children’s books, architecture, landscape and interior designs, renovations, and help manuals, to name a few.
"StoryPages was designed with the growing mobile community in mind, allowing for the rapid creation and delivery of illustrated stories, guides, booklets and animation ideas, right from the iPhone," said SpinThought's CEO and Founder Ben Kopf. "StoryPages is easy, even for the novice and we're excited to bring these new features in StoryPages 2 to the market, making it even easier to create and share illustrations from the iPhone."
Spinthought was able to utilize Zco Corporation of Hudson, New Hampshire as a development resource for StoryPages 2. Zco specializes in custom software development for ALL mobile platforms including iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry.

StoryPages 2 provides full-screen landscape or portrait drawing modes and one-tap access to colored pencils, an eraser and the camera gallery to set backgrounds. The drawing mode has full undo and redo support. It also features intuitive compass-direction navigation between modes and pages with a simple swipe of a finger. StoryPages 2 comes with many features to make it even easier to create illustrations. For example, it lets users take a picture from inside the StoryPages application or select any image from the Photo Gallery to use as a background for drawings with full transparency control. A story list view offers easy title editing, deletion and access to your stories. StoryPages 2 also has natural looking storyboard-style pages with the drawing area at the top and the text description area at the bottom. A page grid view allows for drag-and-drop page rearrangement using thumbnails that show the entire story. StoryPages 2 also comes with full help documentation to
help users get started quickly.

To download StoryPages 2, search for StoryPages on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iTunes and download the application for $2.99. StoryPages 2 supports iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS and iPod Touch 2G and 3G running iPhone OS version 3.0 and above.
