NFC (Near Field Communication) coming to Android phones

A new report says that we'll see the first commercial NFC-enabled Android phones on the market later this year. According to NXP via NFC World, a large number of Android-powered NFC phones will be available from early 2011.

"First phones will be available this year and some more first half of 2011," said Henri Ardevol, general manager of secure transactions at NXP Semiconductors.
