Samsung Corby TV and Samsung Metro TV

Two new TV-enabled cellphones have been launched by Samsung in India - the Corby TV and Metro TV. Both handsets come with a pre-installed app that allows watching of Live TV and other video content. The application called MimobiTV Mobile TV is developed by Apalya and gives users on-demand content streaming of more than 40 channels on both CDMA 1X and 3G networks.

Samsung Corby TV comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, OMH-enabled, 2 megapixel camera, FM Radio, Bluetooth and microSD card slot. Samsung Corby Speed users can also upgrade their phones for free and get the software on their device. Samsung Corby TV will cost Rs. 9,699.

Samsung Metro TV features a 2-inch screen, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM Radio, microSD card slot, mobile tracker and 9 Indian regional languages support. Metro TV will be available for Rs. 6,999.
