Acer Stream multimedia smartphone announced

Acer has announced the Acer Stream, which is a high-end multimedia smartphone, optimized for watching movies, listening to music and enjoying web browsing like at home. Acer Stream comes with Android 2.1 Éclair OS, a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 5MP camera with 720p video recording, 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, 512MB RAM, 7.2 Mbps HSPA, Wi-Fi 802.11n, and HDMI out which connects the Acer Stream to your home TV with HDMI port and watch a movie on a larger screen.

There's also 2GB of internal Flash memory, 8GB memory card as free bundle and a micro-SD card slot support up to 32GB. No word on pricing or availability yet. Stay tuned.
