Firmware update OS 5.0.0.847 for BlackBerry Curve 8530 via MetroPCS

A new firmware upgrade has been released for the BlackBerry Curve 8530 via MetroPCS. The new release brings the previous version up to OS 5.0.0.847. This is an official update which can be downloaded. As always, if you do install, be sure to backup your Curve 8530 smartphone and take all necessary precautions before you start.
