Mobile securities trading unveiled by India’s Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)
Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) in India has introduced mobile trading in the country. Over 30 members of the exchange registered their participation in the program with more expected to jump on board in the next few days. Using the new service, orders submitted by clients on their mobile phones or other wireless devices will be sent through the brokers' servers to the stock exchange. Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said in August that brokers registered to provide Internet-based trading will be able to also provide securities trading using mobile technology.

According to BSE's website, The key concept of the mobile trading is essentially an extension of internet based trading –but with small form factor device i.e: the mobile phone. Similar to a client logging on to the broker’s trade portal on his internet enabled PC. Broker will have full control of the risk parameters since orders submitted by client on his mobile will be sent via the Broker’s servers to the exchange.
