Alcatel Tribe Android phone announced by WIND Mobile

WIND Mobile has announced the introduction of a third Android device with the addition of the Alcatel Tribe Android to its growing product line-up. Featuring a QWERTY keyboard, and a touch screen in a stylish slider design, the Alcatel Tribe Android is packed with mobile apps, a speedy interface, expandable storage and a widget bar.

Running on the Android 2.1 Éclair OS, the Alcatel Tribe Android is capable of smooth surfing, downloading and game playing action. Applications are easily available from Android Market, where more than 3,000 are added monthly. Compatible with 3G, and Wi-Fi networks and features GPS navigation, two-megapixel sensor equipped digital camera with superior image quality, a media player with 3.5 mm audio jack, an electronic compass, internal memory extendable to 16GB, and a micro USB port for only $190 or $40 with the WINDtab.
