Motorola DROID 2 Global confirmed by Verizon

Verizon has confirmed the DROID 2 Global via its Facebook account. Running on the Android 2.2 Froyo OS, the DROID 2 Global is a variant of the DROID 2 featuring a global GSM radio. The specs are apparently similar to the original one, but now boasts 1.2GHz CPU, and global roaming support. The mobile phone costs $199 after a $100 mail-in rebate and 2-year customer agreement.
