Android 2.3 Gingerbread for ViewSonic ViewPad 4 in April
ViewSonic has confirmed that Android 2.3 Gingerbread will be released for the ViewPad 4 in April. This latest update to the ViewSonic Europe ViewPad range will position the device as one of the first multi-media handsets to be supported by Google’s newest operating system (OS). As a reminder, ViewSonic ViewPad 4 comes with a 4.1-inch WVGA display, Qualcomm's 1GHz MSM8255 processor, 5MP camera, HSPA, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, and more.

ViewSonic will be showing key partners the ViewPad 4 with latest version of ‘Gingerbread’ Android OS in April 2011, with general supply to follow shortly after.
