Final Fantasy III iPhone game to be released next month!

Square Enix has confirmed via its Twitter account that the Final Fantasy III will be coming to the iPhone next month. This FF3 is NOT the Super Nintendo version of FFIII which was known as Final Fantasy III when it was first released in North America, but that version is actually Final Fantasy VI. FYI, the original Final Fantasy III had not been released outside of Japan until a remake was released on the Nintendo DS in 2006. This Final Fantasy III's iPhone version is a remake of that 2006 DS title. FF-III is the first numbered Final Fantasy game to feature the job-change system. The iPhone version's control system includes a ‘touch anywhere’ analogue stick and taps on enemies used to initiate attacks. No word on price. Stay tuned!
