S1 to be called Sony Tablet S
Remember the Sony S1? According to a new report from Engadget, the Android Tablet will be called the Tablet S, and will arrive in early September this year. Boasting a 9.4-inch (1280×768) screen, Sony Tablet S will be powered with Android 3.1 with upgrade support to Ice Cream Sandwich. It will have dual cameras (a 5 megapixel rear, and a 3 megapixel front facing). No word on price, probably around $600. Sony will also launch the S2 soon, a dual-screen clamshell tablet headed for AT&T.
