Sprint has announced the Samsung Conquer 4G WiMAX smartphone for the low-end market. Coming with a price tag of $100 on two-year contract, this smartphone is already powered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The new release marks Sprint’s first 4G smartphone to launch at less than $100.

Sprint Samsung Conquer 4G also boasts a 1GHz processor, a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera with flash and zoom, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat. You can also enjoy Sprint ID which delivers a variety of apps, widgets, shortcuts, ringtones and wallpapers.
