Pierre Cardin tablet gets Gingerbread firmware update, lower price

Remember our previous article about the 7-inch Pierre Cardin tablet (PC-7006)? It was equipped with Android Froyo, but now it has been blessed with Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware update and lower price. The model number is now PC-7006G (which stands for probably Gingerbread we guess). The price is now 224.99 GBP (about $358) dropped from 274.99 GBP (about $438). Other specifications remain the same including the 800×480 pixels screen, a 1GHz CPU, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB built-in storage, HDMI out, 4400mAh battery, and a microSD memory card slot.
