Samsung Windows 8 tablet debuts at Microsoft BUILD dev conference
Samsung Windows 8 tablet debuts at Microsoft BUILD 2011 developer conference. Microsoft introduced its new operating system Windows 8 and as expected 5000 Samsung Windows 8 tablets were given to attendees (developers) of its BUILD conference. The Samsung Windows tablet that hits the market later this year will be powered by Windows 7. The Samsung Win 8 tablet is developer prototype hardware which is intended for developers to show the capabilities of Windows 8 OS.

According to This Is My Next who managed to get their hands on the tablet, the Samsung Windows 8 Developer Preview PC is essentially a Series 7 tablet with some added sensors. It has 11.6-inch Super PLS touch-screen display at 1,366 x 768 resolution, a dual-core processor 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-2467M, USB and HDMI ports, a microSD slot, support for pen input, and more.
