Epson America has announced the availability of Runsense™ SF-110 GPS watches, designed for runners, hikers and other fitness-minded individuals who wish to track their workouts and monitor their daily activities.
The Runsense SF-110 combines the daily activity monitoring of a fitness tracker with Epson's GPS technology into one compact design that measures steps taken, calories burned, distance, pace, time, laps, altitude and more.
The lightweight and water-resistant Runsense SF-110 comes in three colors, including black, green and bright blue. Users can set three customizable screens that include up to nine real-time measurements on the easy-to-read LCD display.
"The Runsense SF-110's unique combination of features is perfect for the person with an active lifestyle who wants to understand more about their fitness and running progress," said Randy Bergstedt, Group Product Manager, Epson Active. "The product is the latest in our line of GPS running watches and reflects Epson's commitment to developing a full suite of wearables for the sports and fitness lifestyle."
Runsense SF-110 users can sync their data with the Epson Run Connect mobile app available for iOS and Android devices, or with popular running apps such as MapMyRun®, Strava™ and others. Users can also enable AGPS (Assisted GPS) through the Run Connect app to download the GPS satellite data directly to the watch for a faster initial GPS connection.
"Epson's Runsense GPS watches are the ideal training tool to help keep me on track of my workouts with real-time stats and feedback," said Meb Keflezighi, Olympic silver medalist and winner of the 2014 Boston Marathon, the first American male champion since 1983. "I think Runsense is the perfect companion for both the elite and casual runner looking for more insight into their activities."
Runsense SF-110 is available for a MSRP of $139 through specialty running retail shops and Epson.com. For more information, please visit: www.epson.com/runsense.
