CTIA - The Wireless Association Announces 2015 CTIA Startup Lab Winners

WASHINGTON -- CTIA-The Wireless Association announced the winners of the CTIA Startup Lab 2015 class. The program, held last month in Las Vegas and San Francisco, sourced companies from around the world focused on mHealth, cybersecurity, identity management, wireless and the Internet of things.

The CTIA Startup Lab connects seed and growth-stage companies with the CTIA Innovation Council's mobile industry leaders. This year's winners are:
  • ArmorText (Washington, DC) – First Place & Cybersecurity Category Winner
  • YipYap (Austin, TX) – Second Place (Tied) & Wireless Category Winner
  • Zest Health (Chicago, IL) – Second Place (Tied) & mHealth Category Winner
  • CyberTimez (Winchester, VA) – Internet of Things Category Winner
  • OneVisage (Lausanne, Switzerland) – Identity Management Category Winner
  • PEQ (Kansas City, MO) – 2015 CTIA Innovation Council Investor Pick

The 2015 CTIA Startup Lab finalists were nominated and judged by the CTIA Innovation Network, a community of industry accelerator programs, innovation spaces and investor portfolios from around the world including: OpenAir Equity Partners, Mach37 – The Cybersecurity Accelerator, MoDev, Android BBQ, The ARK Challenge, Cooley LLP, Bootstrap Labs, Sony Growth Ventures, Microsoft Ventures Accelerator - Paris, Klak Innovit, Mucker Capital, Global Accelerator Network, Chinaccelerator, Innovation Pavilion, Producers Guild of America, Bessemer Ventures, In-Q-Tel, Trident Capital and Alcatel One Touch Innovation Accelerator.
