HTC Touch Dual - CTIA 2008. HTC is showing off their HTC Touch Dual for the US market. Already available in Europe and Asia, the HTC Touch Dual is the next-generation of the HTC Touch. This cellphone comes with WinMo 6.1 Professional OS in the U.S.

Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone has been already floating around Europe with the Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional OS for a few months, but this is the first time for Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional available for US market.

As an iPhone competitor, Sprint's Samsung Instinct comes with a 2 megapixel camera, GPS, FM radio, EVDO Rev. A (the first Rev. A device on Sprint), slim 3-inch touchscreen (pressure-based and flush with the face of the device), and microSD card slot.

The cell phone with its widescreen and mobile TV features, looks more or less similar to a compact Television screen. Microsoft Surface in AT&T retail stores. AT&T will become the first company in the world to bring Microsoft Surface(TM) to life in a retail environment, giving customers the ability to explore their mobile worlds using touch and device-recognition technology.

Microsoft Surface is the first commercially available surface computer from Microsoft. Beginning April 17, customers can experience Microsoft Surface in select AT&T retail locations, including stores in New York City, Atlanta, San Antonio and San Francisco. If people love it, AT&T will further expand Surface to other locations.

Velocity 103, 111 (First Velocity Mobile Smartphones). A new company, Velocity Mobile announced its first Microsoft Windows Mobile cellphones, two high-end devices right from the start at CTIA Wireless 2008. The smartphones are Velocity 103 and Velocity 111.

Both Velocity 103 and Velocity 111 run the latest version of Microsoft's mobile OS (Windows Mobile 6.1), and features HSDPA/HSUPA support, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, GPS, two cameras (2 megapixel for taking photos and a VGA for video calls), TV/VGA out, 256MB ROM / 128MB RAM, and a microSD expansion slot.
