Google announces that the Nexus One Desktop Dock has arrived. Custom-designed for the Nexus One, the dock offers a convenient place to charge your phone, on your desk or nightstand. The dock comes equipped with a charger and a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cable, for connecting the dock to your stereo, so you can listen to your phone's music on your stereo system. As soon as you slip your phone into the desktop dock the Clock app opens, providing quick access to the local time and weather, alarm settings, photo slideshows, and your music. You can dim the Clock screen for nighttime use.
The Nexus One Desktop Dock costs $45 and can be bought as a separate accessory from the online store, or bundled with the purchase of your Nexus One phone. The Nexus One accessory is now available for purchase from the Google online store! Click the "Get your phone" button and then scroll to the "Accessories" section at the bottom of that page to find the Desktop Dock.
