TerreStar Genus satphone approved by the FCC
A new TerreStar Genus satellite phone has been approved by the FCC. The QWERTY-enabled Windows Mobile smartphone will apparently be the first dual mode satphone and heading for AT&T. The FCC confirms it has quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSDPA 3G radios on board.
