Discretix’ Multi-Scheme DRM client optimized for Intel-based tablets, handhelds and smartphones
Embedded security solutions provider, Discretix, has announced a robust, flexible ,content protection solution for Intel-based tablets, handhelds and smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2010. The solution features Discretix’ Multi-Scheme DRM client, which has been optimized for Intel’s second-generation platform, codenamed “Moorestown”, and Linux-based Moblin OS.

Discretix's Multi-Scheme DRM client is a versatile solution that protects the distribution and consumption of premium content across a range of mobile devices. With today’s announcement, tablets, handhelds and smartphones based on Intel’s Moorestown platform will be able to support the major DRM schemes in use today — OMA DRM v1.0, OMA DRM v2.1 and Microsoft WM-DRM 10. CPRM, OMA BCAST and new schemes may also be added as they become available.
