Samsung Wave S8500 Bayern Munchen Limited Edition launched in Germany

Samsung Germany has teamed up with FC Bayern Munchen to launch a limited edition of its Bada-powered Wave smartphone, the Wave S8500. Called Samsung Wave Bayern Munchen Edition, the mobile phone features a bundled Bayern Munich application, and free access to T-Mobile’s “LIGA total!” mobile TV service for 3 months. Interestingly, buyers also get a €65 voucher that can be used for buying gifts from the Official FC Bayern Munchen Online Shop.

Samsung Wave S8500 Bayern Munchen Edition should be available across Germany for 429 EUR. This is not the first time when the company launches a football-themed edition of a Samsung phone – you may be aware of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Apollo Ajax Editions in the Netherlands, or the Player S556 Anelka Edition in France.
