HTC Desire, Desire Z Gingerbread firmware updates released

HTC has released Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware updates for the original Desire and HTC Desire Z owners. The Desire Z Gingerbread update should be already available as OTA update in Germany, UK, and European countries. As for the original HTC Desire, if it's not available via over-the-air, you can get it from developer.htc.com. Remember to backup your HTC Desire phone with all your customizations and take all necessary precautions before you start.
