Gingerbread update : Droid Incredible via Verizon

Good news for Verizon Droid Incredible users, your smartphone has been blessed with Android 2.3 Gingerbread firmware update. The new software update (Android 2.3.4) for the HTC DROID Incredible brings several improvements for your HTC device.

These will be the main features changed with the update:
+ MMS messages will now send correctly
+ Properly save audio files from MMS messages
+ Successfully play audio from MMS messages
+ Internet connection via Bluetooth now enabled
+ VZ Navigator now operates over WiFi
+ Change songs in music widget by tapping the forward button
+ Camera now functions with an SD card inserted
+ City ID app fixed

The new release which is build number 4.06.605.3; baseband version 2.15.10.07.07 is available over-the-air (OTA). In case you haven't received it yet, you can manually check it from Settings > Software update / About phone. As usual, it is suggested that you backup all your data before upgrading.
