Verizon Droid Bionic by Motorola available on Sept 8
Verizon has officially announced that Droid Bionic by Motorola will be exclusively available beginning tomorrow on Sept. 8. Those not familiar with the Motorola's Android smartphone should know that it comes with a dual-core 1 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM. It has 4.3-inch qHD display using scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass with dual-layer anti-reflective coating.

Running on the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread platform, the Verizon Droid Bionic boasts 8MP autofocus camera with flash and 1080p HD video capture. There's also front-facing camera for video chat over 4G LTE, 3G or Wi-Fi. It has 32 GB memory: 16 GB on board and 16 GB microSD card pre-installed, and also supports up to 32 GB microSD cards.

Other features include MOTOPRINT app to print via Wi-Fi-enabled printers, Mirror Mode with HDMI out (HDMI cable required) supporting 1080p HD video playback, Multi-window options for multitasking with ease when using the Webtop application, Business Ready with advanced security policies; resizable and scrollable email, calendar and task widgets; device and SD card encryption; and Citrix GotoMeeting and Citrix Receiver for Android, Adobe Flash pre-loaded, HTML 5 capable, and supports wireless charger.

Verizon DROID BIONIC by Motorola will be available in Verizon Wireless Communication Stores and online at verizonwireless.com on Sept. 8 for $299.99 with a new two-year customer agreement.
